I might not be a marketing genius (although I am a marketing major), but I do know an effect viral marketing campaign when I see one. The commercial for Dollar Shave Club probably cost under $1,000 and will see more eyes then most television commercials that cost 50x. If I wasn’t a lumberjack that lived in the mountains and never shaved, I might actually sign up for this club just because I like the commercial.
