Lego Space Shuttle Actually Goes To Space

inTIMidator March 5, 2012

In tribute to the ending of the space shuttle ear, , sent a Lego space shuttle in SPACE!

This epic Lego launch took place from central Germany and reached a max altitude of 35000m. The weather balloon, which was simply filled with helium, was fitted with a GoPro Hero HD camera, a Spot GPS (so they could find the thing when it hit the ground) and course the Lego Space Shuttle model 3367.

I wounder if all of those lost birthday balloons actually make it to space too?
