More Star Wars! People just can get enough of this story. And while George Lucas tries to re-release the films for a third time (this time in 3D), and squeeze every last ounce of awesome out the story, the new STAR WARS™ Identities: The Exhibition, is going to take an inside look at Star Wars and the origins of the characters.
The following posters were created to promote the upcoming exhibition which will feature “a vast collection of Star Wars props, costumes, models, and artwork from the Lucasfilm Archives, including iconic items like Darth Vader’s costume, the Millennium Falcon model, and Anakin’s full-sized Podracer.” The exhibition will try and explore the influences that shape the each of the characters, and the choices they make during their life (sounds kind of deep for Star Wars… But might be interesting).
“STAR WARS™ Identities: The Exhibition” will be held at the Montreal Science Centre and will run from April 19 through September 16, 2012. After that it will be moved to the Edmonton’s Telus World of Science from October 27, 2012 through April 1, 2013. If you’re felling geeky and want to go, you can purchase your tickets here.
How did Luke and Anakin become such different people, despite growing up on the same planet and sharing a similar genetic makeup?
