Throughout the ages it has been known that when a bunch of Dudes get together on a golf course, there are bound to be some “trick” shots here and there. Most of the time someone gets hurt and 7-10 balls get lost in the woods, but these two guys take it to a whole new level. Yesterday, Formula 1 racer David Coulthard and professional golfer Jake Shepherd set a world record when Coulthard caught Shepherd’s 178mph 300 yard tee shot in the 6.2-liter V-8, 563 horsepower Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster.
The best part about this you ask??? They accomplished it on their second attempt!! I’m kind of impressed.
Food for thought: How did that idea come about? Comment on this post to give us your ideas.
I see a few Dudes drinking on a patio on golf course. One comments to the other on his nice tee shot on #7. The driver of the group proposes, “I bet I could catch that ball with my new ride…” The rest is history. Weak, I know…so come up with something better and comment it.
Dude 3, OUT!
