In an age where marketing grabs hold of your throat and chokes you into submission, it is very rare to find a movie that hasn’t had the plot firmly engrained in the soft tissues of your brain prior to the actual release. Well, this is exactly what we are talking about…
A “fan” of the soon-to-be-released Amazing Spider Man has taken all of the teasers, previews, clips, and featurettes available everywhere and has edited them together in a nicely composed 25 minute “preview”, which all but tells the entire story.
From GeekTyrant.com:
Some awesome fanboy ended up taking all of the trailers, clips and featurettes that Sony Pictures has released for Marc Webb‘s The Amazing Spider-Man, and edited together a 25-minute cut of the film that basically gives us the whole story! The video is cut together pretty well, and it’s a perfect example of the studios releasing way too much of the film before it hits theaters! Is it just me or is 25 minutes of a movie a hell of a lot of footage? If you’re not interested in seeing the full movie in theaters, this video might just be all you need.
The Amazing Spider-Man comes out on July 3rd. Do you think the studios need to cut down on the amount of footage they release for their movies?
Beware, if you are planning on actually seeing this movie, you might not want to watch this 25 minute mixup.
