It’s been a few weeks now since we’ve heard anything new about Michael Bay and his “murdering” of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) franchise. This time, we get to see just how bad his damage was going to be and why the movie studios made the right choice (for once) and shut down Bay’s abomination. That’s right kids… we have the (alleged) actual script from the Michael Bay presents Teenage ‘Alien’ Ninja Turtles movie.

I have to admit, I’m reporting on this and didn’t read the ‘whole script.’ I read only the first few pages, a few in the middle and the last few. Which I’m expecting you did the same. So I don’t feel bad. But what I did read… Didn’t sound too much like the TMNT.
First, Shredder has been renamed General Schrader? What the heck happen to him being the Japanese ninja that Splinter learned his fighting from in the cage? And why is there soooo much military involvement in this story? I don’t remember one, not one, instance where the TNMT had to deal with the military. And this whole movie seems to be more of an Area 51 coverup of the space ninjas, and focused far to much on Casey and not enough on the turtles.
It’s just too much change, and I’m glad the movie studios shut it down. The should have just completely changed everything. If Bay would have just changed the animals and called is something different, maybe it would be tolerable. Try again Michael… This time stick to the basic formula that made the TNMT so great and you’ll do fine.
