What Would Happen If Everyone On Earth Jumped At The Exact Same Time?

So you think you’re a big deal? You might make a dent in the earth? You’re wrong. You are NOTHING!

Just kidding. I love you. But seriously, do you know what would happen if everyone on Earth all jumped into the air at the exact same time? I’ll let Michael from Vsauce explain it in detail, but basically nothing. For all of the impact we would have on the Earth, it would have an equal an opposite reaction to us, and basically nothing would happen…

But the idea of everyone on the planet all doing something together is interesting… What if we could do something other then just jump. What if we could all swim in the ocean, would the the sea leave rise? Or, what if we all inhaled at the same time, would we affect the Earth’s plan life? Agh, who are we kidding, we can’t even all work on the same space program. Do we really need to have competing space programs, aka “Space Races.” The Olympic international competitions are one thing, but why can’t we all just fly to Mars together? Let’s get some people up there already!
