The Tesla isn’t like the old electric cars. This brand new 7 passenger all-electric vehicle has 443 pounds feet of torque, and has a driving range of up to 300 miles (which, when I think about it, is just a little short of my straight six Lexus).
In the video below, we get to see why the Tesla Model S is in the running for Automobile Magazine’s 2013 Automobile of the Year, when it beats the BMW M5 in a drag race from 0-100 mph (give it was two out of three times, it’s still very impressive).
